All applicants must pass a homecheck and provide a veterinary as well as two personal references. There is an adoption fee to reimburse the organization for sterilization and vaccinations.
Also, must be willing to complete a training class with the dog and provide us with a certificate of completion. Also, must be certain that homeowners' insurance allows pit bulls to reside on the property. Due to the pit bull's tendency for same-sex aggression, no same sex adoptions will be considered. Also, please do not apply for a pit bull if you plan on frequenting the dog park with your new companion...look for another breed!
